back at the history of the emperors of Rome, I noticed some similarities between the fatal policy of Augustus and Berlusconi, the face of those who argue that history does not repeat itself. How did Augustus to be emperor of a nation so closely linked its republican freedom and could not even hear about the Kingdom? The answer is that it has changed everything without changing anything, a smooth transition from a republic to a kingdom, but that theory was still a republic. The means used to carry out this transaction without noticing that the people are in those few words that Berlusconi has already been largely achieved. As in every Roman republic also had control bodies, such as the judiciary and the consuls who commanded it. Slowly through small (only appearance) reforms Augustus was able to empty from the inside all these organs of control that remained, but their power was only theoretical. As an example I would like to Berlusconi plans to do that among other things in the forthcoming reform of justice, or that the PM will not be able to start the police investigation. There are currently two ways to start an investigation: Police-
somehow learns of the incident and contact the PM starts the investigation. The PM-
somehow becomes aware of the fact, contact the police and the investigation starts.
Why now it is expected that the PM can no longer start an investigation on their own initiative? Apparently there seems some kind of big change, but discoursed above is much deeper than it looks. For example, if during the investigation about it is a fact to discover other crimes that were committed by other people, the PM will not be able to start an investigation and how it will do so for all financial crimes? Those mica can be seen, how can the police find out for yourself? The game itself is just like the Clean Hands investigation of secondary survey of a simple Democrat who had asked for a small bribe. So a small reform that does not seem to change anything significant, but it revolutionized everything and a little man who seems to face only the laws ad personam instead is creating a dictatorship in Italy.
